I see the roses
In the evening of their days
Blooming with magnificence
Yet ready to fade
They make me wonder
If we still have a chance
To make things right
To move to this blissful state
Where only life matters
Not the opinions that choke us
Into a silent mass
Bound by the depths of your heart
I throw away my thorns
Softly, I gather your name
Not to miss this hour
Mixed with roses
And the bloom
Hidden deep within me.
