Remembering dates is one thing, discovering good fortune from their numbers is another. So ask a numerologist. We did. Doris Ann Bridgehouse of Smithfield, who specializes in numerology, has been co-hosting Psychic Holistic Spotlight on Rhode Island Cox Cable for 14 years.
“There is no good day or bad day to get married. If you’re talking about numbers, no one number is better or worse than another.”
This is not to say that a numerologist does not believe in numerology. It merely means that numerology is not what many people think it is.
Dates in themselves, Bridgehouse says, are not universally auspicious or portentous. Rather, they can be favorable or unfavorable based on different people’s numerology, which is a function of their birth dates or, in some numerological circles, the number of letters in their names.
“If one of them has a seven in their birthday, it means something,” Bridgehouse says. “If neither one does, that means something else.”
Personal numerology interacts with calendar numerology, so, Bridgehouse says,7/7/07 will mean different things to different people.
As for 7/7/07 being a good date for a wedding, that may be true, she says, but it’s not as important as the people in the wedding. “Everything boils down to the spirit within the person. You have to have reflection on what your actions are and why you are doing these actions.”
